Every year APRI provides programs to advocate for and support low income, disadvantaged and communities of color. Our volunteers assist us with providing community service to shelters, senior centers, and youth programs. We provide community advocacy training, education on full participation in the civic process, voter registration and education.

The A. Philip Randolph Institute, established in 1964, is a national non-profit union affiliated organization with chapters throughout the United States and is a senior constituency group of the AFL-CIO. The A. Philip Randolph Institute, Seattle Chapter, established in 1971,is a 501 (C)(3), nonprofit community minded organization, actively involved in helping to provide assistance to economically disadvantaged seniors, youth, unemployed and others in need.

​We offer voter registration and voter education on a year round basis. Our voter education consists of community programs designed to educate the public on political issues and candidates, but we do not endorse any candidates.
