We believe sending a child back to school should not be a financial hardship.

 Due to outstanding community participation the First South King County Back2School Youth Initiative was a huge success. In a joint venture to address a crucial time for youth experiencing homelessness, we launched a Back2School resource fair and backpack giveaway. The tremendous effort of the community, support, dedication and generous donations allowed us to provide backpacks, school supplies and clothing to over 400 scholars. With nearly 800 people in attendance we connected directly to those in need. 

This year, we’re proud to continue the push and meet the needs of young scholars with a second resource fair and giveaway. And with continued support we can make this possible. We’d love if you could be a part of this worthy cause. We’re currently seeking support in providing the necessary assistance to homeless youth and families including but not limited to youth and parent resources, school supplies, shoes and clothes, education and career opportunities and community solidarity this fall.
